In the 60's I would escape to the quiet vacuum of my mom's vw and read Encyclopedia Brown and Dr. Seuss. Drawn to the magic of the written word, I filled a box with youthful pages, then married and raised a family. When unable to write, I would view the days unfolding as a collection of stories. Some are still in the box, unfinished. Some are hanging in my mind like sleeping bats. Stringing together a bit of of bone, shell and pebble gathered along the way, I hope we can amuse you- the bats and I.
