I am 59 years old and planning to "retire" and write full time when I am 62. I am a single parent and have 3 adopted children still at home, so have to work right now. I plan to devote as much time as possible over the next 3 years in writing activities. REVISION: I am now 60, and may retire this year due to health issues. I will write full time and hope to supplement my income that way. NEW UPDATE I am now 68 and am still not writing full time. I do plan to do better this year. I have a part time job, and plan on going back to teaching for a couple more years if I get a job, so won't be writing full time yet. But, that time is coming.
