A poem about Medusa I wrote in Latin class (2000) for Christmas/Halloween. |
| MEDUSA THE SNAKE-HEADED MONSTER (in the tune of Rudolph the rednosed reindeer) You've heard of Stheno and Euryale but do you recall the most horrible Gorgon of all... Medusa the snake-headed monster had many snakes upon her head and if you should ever see her you would certainly wind up dead All of the townspeople of Athens wanted Medusa to die Far up on Mt. Olympus The Goddess Athena finally heard their cry Athena said to Perseus one night Won't you kill Medusa tonight Then how everybody loved him As they shouted out with glee Perseus you will go down in Roman and Greek History For Mr. Martin's 2nd year Latin Class. 2000 |
