Green's Journey


Green is a toddler without hope.
Dad's 'love" is confusing.
She starts down a slippery slope,
can't know it's abusing.
She starts to lose her inside soul,
her life begins out of control.

Her middle years are as a blur.
She doesn't know to choose good.
Enlightenment does not occur,
her choices misunderstood.
She starts to think why does she choose
wrongful answers that are abuse.

Green has become a wise senior,
thankful lessons learning.
Joy and peace are her demeanor.
Her soul is returning.
Many mistakes can't be undone
but her self-healing has begun.
