In a part of my life the keys I found,
When my hair was red and eyes of blue.
Over a bridge crossed jewel fish sound
Heading south was all I wanted to do.
Right on down interstate one
To Vaca Key at the bridge that is seven mile,
oysters by the ton
to make everyone smile.
Seven steps from my back door
Cross the street and down sand hill
the Gulf Beach to explore.
Beautiful sunsets are the deal.
Out my front door and three trailers down
over the small sand hill to waters edge,
the great Atlantic should have a crown,
For such beautiful sunrises with green wedge.
The oceans still call my name
On days I feel the need
Not answering is my shame
For at home I now should heed.
In the mountains God has landed me
The Valleys I grew up knowing.
For my days are softer and full of glee,
My Family still around and growing.
