God’s People Stand Firm

Scripture: Job 1-2, Revelation 13

Scripture Verse: “Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for you are my savior.” Psalm 25:5a

God’s Attribute: Omnuscient. God knows everything.

Main Truth: God helps His people know what is true.

Story: “God Is listening, God Is listening, to each word I say, God will hear me, God will hear me, each time I pray. Our hands we fold, our heads we bow, so we can talk to God right now. Thank you, God, for bringing Cain and Abel and Seth…”name each child “here today. Thank you, God, for Your holy book, the Bible. Amen.” Hold up the Bible. “Does anybody know what book this is? This book is the Bible. The Bible is God’s word and it’s the truth. ‘The Bible is true, the Bible is true, and everything the Bible says, the Bible is true.

Job loved God very much. Show picture of Job. Use ASL for God.

Job had many animals and helpers. He had cows that said moo and sheep that said baa.

Job had a big family. Show picture of God’s big family.

Satan took away good things Job had. Frown, trace tear down cheek.

Satan wanted Job to believe lies. Shake head.

Job was very sad, but Job did not stop God. Smile.

God helped Job know what is true.

God helps His people know what is true.
