A description of a dark day getting better - a rhyming poem. |
| Gathered in tunnels, shackles and chains. Scooped up by owners, dogs on the brains. Glory to Heaven, lives down the drains - Sunny, then rainbows - viewed once it rains… Holding a beauty, while strolling along. Jukebox is playing some fabulous song. At the bar drinking, the money’s still strong. Family and friends watching victories gone wrong! A bad mood starts early, then gets going later. Each day’s a homer, a pitch that’s a tater. Sharing balloons for each circus clown skater! Ecstasy’s burden’s a new air inflater. Come for the minuses - aim for a plus. Hammers are missing and making one cuss. Never receiving - thrown under a bus. Bother relating - deflect all the fuss… Strutting like talent makes you stay on their toes - Doors which were open might suddenly close… Life’s a reminder of yesterday’s pose! Chasing a blossom - a new, wilted rose. |
