Just a poem, trying to find my name. |
My name
I've been on Earth Thousands of years Witnessed their joy Their pain, and tears
I felt their passion And shared their fears Lived in their hearts More than it appears
I've read their books Which they didn't write Some say they're wrong Some say they're right
Some worship darkness Some glorify light Thriving in fables No one proved right
And I sang their songs And I drank their wine But I always knew None of this, was mine
I am the stranger, Species of my own Not like any kind The planet had known
I've lived on Earth Before they came Thousands of years Looking for an aim
But I found nothing And it will be same Till after forever Can't find my name
