I love the sound of a train late at night. I wrote this with that in mind. |
🎵 The Find You Train — Tee M. (Guitar intro — soft fingerpicking imagine the sound) Verse 1 From this train, I’ve been chasing the sound so long, the steel hum of the rails beneath me, the steady heartbeat of distance in a song. Every bend in the track, feels like it might reveal you there— standing in the fog, as though no time has touched your hair. But the mist folds back, and hides what I thought I knew… Chorus Still… as long as the rails keep singing, I’ll keep traveling on. And somewhere— between the echo and the horizon— I will find you, maybe on the train, maybe on the train. Verse 2 The train speaks in its own language— the low rumble of the track, the hollow cry of the whistle pulls my heart right back. It tells me stories I already know, but I still ache to hear your name. I don’t know where this road will end, maybe that’s why I came. The truth is, it’s not the end I seek— it’s the memories calling me through… Chorus Still… as long as the rails keep singing, I’ll keep traveling on. And somewhere— between the echo and the horizon— I will find you, maybe on the train, maybe on the train. You can see the cords for a guitar in my blog: I've added a new entry to my book, "My Private Whispers and Light Blog" "The Find You Train with cords" Because I love the sound of a train. |
