You leave me speechless, bleeding useless words (2026).

Cuts and Bruises-

My tongue is bruised,
It's black and blue.
It stumbles and trips over itself,
not knowing what to do with you.

My lips are bleeding
red, crimson, bloody
onto my shirt, into your ears.
They ooze effortlessly.

What do you hear?
The cuts or the bruises?
My pretty red lips?
My tongue's black and blue?

Will you take it all?
All the messy yellow wine
Spilling from my mind
When your lips bleed onto mine.

Kiss My Bruised Tongue-
(Sequel to 'Cuts and Bruises')

I want you to hold me,
Wrap me in your lungs.
Kiss me 'til you see me
And the bruises on my tongue.
Kiss my bleeding lips
Taste my black and blue,
Savor the wine, from my mind,
That pours itself in you.
Do you see the words I want
To say to you this time?
Do you taste them when you kiss
This bruised old tongue of mine?

Kiss my bruised tongue
Hold it's honey in your hands
It's jumbled taste is sweeter
Than societies demands.
It's sweeter than the blood I bleed
Into your eager ears.
My tongue says even more
Than you thought that you could hear.
My bruised tongue can tell you secrets
Of the flowers bled for you.
It drools of endless happiness
I hope to have with you.

If you hold me in your arms
And kiss my black and blue
My bruised old tongue might tell you
I long to fall in love with you.
