1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?

I made money from one of my blogs – Poet 999’s Thoughts about Writing and Other Stuff.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I didn’t make resolutions until Naw-Ruz, March 21, I’m still attempting to work on those. I will make more resolutions at Naw-Ruz in 2008. The time between
January 1 and March 21, I review what’s working and what’s not.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

My nephew's wife in Colorado gave birth to a boy just before Christmas 2007.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

No

5. What countries did you visit?

None

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?

More money

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

March 19, 2007, that was my Mother’s 86th birthday and she was in the operating room having a bowl resection; she survived and is doing well.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Learning to put my worries in God’s hands and not try to take them back.

9. What was your biggest failure?

Not putting everything in God’s hands from the beginning.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

No, but my right knee kept acting up.

11. What was the best thing you bought?

Come Be My Light The Private Writings of the Saint of Calcutta (Mother Teresa)

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

Any firefighter who goes into a building to rescue a trapped person.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

Those who marched against the immigration policy and wanted to send illegal aliens back to their country without reviewing their cases individually.

14. Where did most of your money go?

To pay bills.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

My mother still being alive.

16. What song will always remind you of 2007?

I don’t want any song to remind me of 2007 it was a stressful year I’d just as soon forget. I won’t and I don’t need a song to remind me of it.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?

Laughed

I spent Christmas at home with my mother watching the neighbors Christmas lights.

No

Don’t do those

The Britcom As Time Goes By

No, hate takes too much energy.

Reaching into the closet and pulling out a long skirt, then finding a blouse and
hoping the match.

My mother being home while she was in the hospital

The nurses in the hospitals my mother was in
