Not Driving To Carbondale, Not Visiting Von Jakob Winery

          Today we had planned on driving down to Murphysboro, Illinois to dine at the 17th St. BBQ, stay at the Home 2 Suites in Carbondale, and hit the Von Jakob Winery tomorrow.  Plans do change though, this time weather was the cause.  Then again, what really happened, is you know who (not me) got cold feet because it's supposed to storm pretty good tomorrow.  Murphysboro is due to get high winds, rain, and maybe a little snow.  Depending on who you want to believe or watch, Bloomington is due to get 1-3, or 3-5 inches of that White Stuff!  So I canceled our reservation at the hotel & Hilton was kind enough to redeem the points I'd used for the reservation.  Being a Lifetime Diamond Member does have its perks!  We figure everything will still be there in a couple of weeks.  We'll wait until it warms up to go.  I wanted to take the Campervan, but that will depend on my recovery after surgery.  We may be 'forced' to take the Transit Connect, or maybe her CMAX even.  We'll see what the future holds I guess.
