It might get listed in an upcoming [NEWS] email! ::  NEW: Revision Control System For Premium Members! ::Writing.Com is pleased to introduce our new Revision Control System (RCS). RCS automatically tracks changes made to the Static Items of members with Premium Membership or above. Anytime a static item is edited, the Revision Control System stores the changes made to the document. By visiting the RCS link found at the top of their items, authors can view a list of all the revisions stored for the item. With the click of any of the links, the item is shown as it was before any revision. RCS can be used as an undo feature, allowing you to recover a past version of your item before any changes were made. If you want to "go back" to a previous version, view the RCS list, pick the version you want and then copy/paste it back into your item's body. Item owners using Group Edit Access on a Static Item will be happy to know that RCS stores the information of the member who made the change to the item. The item owner can see who did what to the item, and when. As noted above, RCS is only available to members with Premium Membership or above.
