I know I'm way behind on this. I've been working and my modem died so I had no internet connection.

The Blogging Circle of Friends prompt for April 12 is "April 12 is Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day. Grilled cheese sandwiches have been around since Roman times. There are dozens of different recipes for a Grilled Cheese sandwich. How do you make your grilled cheese? If you don't eat grilled cheese then how do you make your favorite sandwich?"

Yes I love grilled cheese sandwiches. My late wife was great at frying them. I usually get mine too hot. She made different types. I love extra sharp cheddar grilled cheese sandwiches. I've had pepper jack cheese grilled cheese sandwiches. I've put cold cuts on extra sharp cheddar grilled cheese. You name it and I've done it.

The Blog City prompt for April 12 is ""Authors like cats because they are quiet, lovable wise creatures and cats like authors for the same reason." Robertson Davies Do you agree with this statement or does this applies to dogs? Write what you want about this."

I actually prefer dogs. I'm getting a service dog. I prefer not to say what my disability is and it's against the law to ask. However anyone can ask me what the dog does for me. I need it for balance walking and to guard me in public. If somebody sneaks up on me they may get punched. I don't want to do that. The dog would be given either the command to "cover" which means it turns facing backwards. If anybody approaches it warns me by pressing on my leg. I could give it the "back" command and it would stand behind me. It will also alert me to low sugar attacks, panic attacks, etc. It will also remind me of my medication by leading me to it. A cat could never do any of that.
