Smilin' Jack Connor
Smilin' Jack Connor took Shannon's honor
with promises nimble and quick.
A candlestick dinner made Jack a winner,
plum brandy soon finished the trick.

Jack offered to wed her in order to bed her,
and Shannon was fooled by his trick.
She slept with her flame, who left her in shame,
'Cause Jack was just dipping his wick!
