Density

Density? I’ll give you density.
My head, that’s what’s dense,
dense like a rock, so hard to pierce,
dense like a forest, too full of thoughts,
yet porous too, holed like a sponge,
words and memories leaking,
pouring from every orifice, spring water
lost in the racing stream of life.
Don’t talk to me of density.
