A1 - rough day

Brenda reluctantly rose to answer the door, it was habit from her childhood. In the Preserve she could have answered it from her bed if she needed to. She tapped the doorpad and it opened. Evie was on the other side with a pizza box and bottle of orange soda.

It clearly took Evie no more than a glance at Brenda to read her mood, "I take it you forgot we were going to binge watch and chill? How bad was your day?"

Brenda sighed and took Evie's offerings. "I'm sorry. I lost a recon team today, and only just finished the notifications."

The pizza was hot and the soda ice cold. The box was from the pizzeria down stairs. Hands empty Evie put

We are not taking them to bed yet but instead using the intimacy of hugging, kissing, holding hands, etc, what the slightest touch can do to a person, how it affects them, and changes their mood, thinking, etc. Please avoid using the word FEEL as much as possible. If you start to write it, close your eyes, imagine it happening, and write what the sensation feels like instead of using the word itself.
