quiet beyond quiet
a silence of all
not found in reality
                   BUT
there is always something
you hear
crickets in silence
          the bluster of the wind
                    the sounds of darkness
                             the ringing of my ears
                                       the twitching of my own muscles
                                                 electricty flowing through the walls
                                                           demons and angels battle in the backgrounds
                                                                     monsters whisper conspiracies.
