I was thinking about SandraLynn's suggestion of Blursday for Thursday when I realised I already had an answer for that day. It harks back to an old joke that I shall now regale you with (nothing like a spot of regaling, dontcha think?)

Two drunks are stumbling homewards. One says to the other, "Where are we?"

"Wembley," he responds.

"Really?" says the first drunk. "I thought it was Thursday."

"So am I. Let's have a drink."

It seems today should be Thirsty.
