Good or Just Cheesy - The Philadelphia Experiment

Well, yesterday I had a little bit of spare time and decided to go Sci-Fi. Now, I like a good sci-fi as much as anyone so I picked:



I did not see the movie when it came out though I suppose I could have. I was 16 at the time and loved sci-fi back then. But watching it now -

Wow. It's kinda' cheesy. I really liked the lead - Michael Pare was very handsome. And the lead actress was nominated for a Saturn, but I've seen better sci-fi.

The concept is actually kinda' interesting - the USN trying to find a way to cloak a Destroyer. A destroyer is a big ship, too. Who knows? Maybe it was do-able. I dunno and honestly, I watched the movie for it's entertainment value. Rotten Tomatoes gave a 50% on the Tomato meter and 41% on the popcorn meter.

Maybe I'll catch up on Philadelphia Experiment lore. If I have the time.
