Tracey

Tracey the cat burglar
goes on the prowl,
packing her rucksack
with claw-foiling towel.

Tracey the cat burglar
striking at night,
comes like a phantom
with nary a light.

Tracey the cat burglar
clearing the ‘hood,
taking all felines,
the bad and the good.

Tracey the cat burglar
making it home,
if it weren’t for the cats
she’d be all alone.
