| [ASR] For a 5K runner who didn't let having a child stop her from winning on Mother's Day '04 in Rochester, NY. ♠♠♠♠♠ A Lady loves to run ♠♠♠♠♠ Catch me, catch me if you can. I can run longer than anyone can. Over the hill and into the dale. Straight through the woods, hearty and hale. Catch me, catch me, if you can! Twenty-six miles, a marathon. Nothing for me, but see if you can: run against wind; run through the snow. I run with my child strapped ... in tow! Catch me, catch me, if you can! An inner rhythm. To finish, my lust. Feet hit the pavement. I run for I must. I run under moon. I run with the sun. You, left behind, like worries ... undone. Catch me, catch me, if you can. I can run longer than anyone can. Catch me, catch me, IF you can! Kåre Enga for Lady Allison Carr, mother of Gary McPike III. Lady Allison has won more than one 5k race. |
