| the ginger tom danced with the devil the silent groom dealt with the devil the undead bride slept with the devil and they swished and they swayed and they laughed then they prayed But the devil, clever devil, wicked devil, played them all. ~*~ Written June 1, 2009. This is intended as an opening to the story, and is meant to set the tone as much as it reveals glimpses of what is to come. It might undergo some tweaking once I start filling in the story's blanks. |
