Still in pain....

Today I had to call the doctor again about this "arthritis" pain I am having. I cannot lift my right leg without excruciating pain, making it very difficult to get into my truck and to put on slacks. Waiting to hear back. The nurse did say my neck x-ray showed some degenerative disease. Hopefully, I will have a definitive diagnosis soon and something to relieve this pain. In the meantime, I am continuing the Aleve. Friends have been wonderful, offering to help in any way I need, but I am one of those people who hate to ask for help.

I am reading "Orange is the New Black" for my book club and have yet to decide what is so great about it? I am slogging through but not enjoying it at all. I can't believe Netflix could make a series out of it?

My critique pod group is cancelling this month. Everyone has prior commitments...convenient for me with this whatever it is. I haven't started a story...bad. Hard to concentrate. I am committed to a writers' group meeting next Monday evening...if I can get into my truck.
