Losing Your Voice

Prompt: What would you do if you lost your voice?

I would be texting more and writing emails more as well as doing stories. I would learn sign language. I tried learning from library books about it years ago and I learned a few sentences. I would have to take a course about learning sign language. I would pray to get my voice back. I would have to learn body language as well. I am alone a lot in the daytime but I do talk to my cat. I hope I never lose my voice. It would be hard. This prompt makes one think. I need my voice, ears and sight as well as my brain, heart and other body organs. I always want to be heard, no matter what.
