What is The Roman Index?
The Papal Roman Index forbids Catholics from reading heretical documents.
The works of Copernicus, Galileo, and Dante's Divine Comedy were on this list.
But, have been taken off the Roman Index a hundred years later.
The Council of Nicea in 325ad condemned Arius' book Thalia and ordered all
books containing the Arian heresy be burned.
The Arian heresy was that Jesus was a prophet and not a God.
Pope Leo the Great condemned the Psalms of David as perverse.
But, he would not remove it from the Bible.
The Apostle Paul(Acts 19:19) ordered the converts of Ephesus to burn their books on magic.
Was Jesus a magician?
The list of heretical material today is very long.
People can believe anything.
I asked a Buddhist girl from Thailand "What is Buddhism?"
She pointed to a seagull and giggled, "It is life."
The question shouldn't be, "Can you believe it?"
The question should be, "What evidence do you have?"
Reflections~I don't care about John Bolton's book... Oy!
