| Oy, what a nice day. So, I didn’t make it to the gym. I hit the PS4 for about an hour and a half. I didn’t overdo it thankfully. I got through two short chapters that lasted about forty-five minutes. I’m very near the end of the story. It’s getting really good too. I’ve read the whole book before and I recall the protagonist returning to his own world at the end. Likewise ye younger, be submissive to the elder. Everyone submit yourselves to one another. Be clothed with humility for God resists the proud and give grace to the humble. 1 Peter 5:5 Submit to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake. The power just went out and I lost some of my blog content. Thankfully not all was lost. I’ve prayed about it and I don’t think God wants me to throw in the towel just yet with affiliate marketing gig just yet. I have to keep going with my posts three times per week. Right now I’m doing a post on oil paintings. But the actual key word phrase is “oil painting for sale.” I found an oil painting that was marked down from its original price. I so want to get that job at the N. Rainbow Hobby Lobby. It’s very close to where I live. I really don’t want to work at the Decatur location. It’s an hour commute as opposed to fourteen minutes from the Rainbow location. I was offered a leadership position by the head of the group I’m in in WdC. I don’t think I’ll be accepting it though. I have some things on my plate so to speak. I need to publish my book and get a site up for it too. Then there is social media too I must attend to. Plus, I need money to promote it. I have decided to go traditional to publish it. Well, I’m tired and it’s almost 7 PM when I take the rest of the day off. Goodbye. |
| What a day. I missed the gym yet again. I did go with my mom to bring some items back to Target. My mom felt like getting Mexican food. But the place we were going to ended up being an old joint connected to a mini-mart. Before we ever tried Greek Delights, we first came to the taco shop and we walked in and we were not impressed. That was the first time we went to Greek Delights. It’s good we stumbled onto it; their food is delicious! I dropped off my application to Hobby Lobby at North Rainbow Blvd – the closer one. I spoke to a manager who was very friendly. She basically said a stocker was more or less a janitor. It’s either that or being a checker. I don’t know if I’m ready for that. The manager was a nice lady. I feel more likely that I will get a job at the N. Rainbow. An agent from Christian Faith publishing called me again. It was the same dude who I first talked to when I was asking about CF publishing in the first place. I went to a site or more and found that the self-publishing has low ratings compared to other secular companies. What a shame. )= I’m still stuck in a rut with my book publishing process specifically with promoting on social media. Hopefully I’ll just be able to YouTube it. lol. I deleted my Facebook page because there is another recourse on FB called an author page. The integral part of the whole job lay with the book web site. But I don’t think I can juggle a job, Wealthy Affiliate, book promoting and WDC at the same time. I’m thinking of dumping my WA gig. I need to pray about it first about that though. Jim has been gone a long time. He went in to work at 6 AM. It is now about 3:40 PM. That’s over eight hours. I wonder what he is doing. I hit the PS4 for about fifteen minutes today. It was either that or going with my mom. I chose the latter. My mom picked more tops when she was at Target. It took a while for her to try them on. Likewise, ye younger submit to the elder. | Three days in a row. Not bad. Now what do I discuss? My mom and I finally dropped off my application to Hobby Lobby. As it happened, my mom noticed that there is a much closer location than the one I gave my app. It’s only one buss away and it is straight down Rainbow Blvd. I hope I get a call from them rather than the farther one. The atmosphere there is very relaxed. That is a prime thing I look for in job. After I dropped off my app, we went to Target next to Hobby Lobby. My picked up some clothes and got some odds and ends. My mom ended up getting a carbonation machine. Jim said it is unhealthy. So, we will be taking it back. lol. So I have been doing some exploring around Goodreads for a little while. I finally found out how to join reading groups. I signed up for the basic free membership. I am considering joining a sci-fi/fantasy group. If I do end up following that plan, I will end up finding myself striving to read a lot more than I am now. But that doesn’t necessarily mean it will be a bad thing. It will enrich my mind. But before I do that, I must saturate myself with the Word. Therefore brethren, we are debtors not to to the flesh to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die. But if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the flesh you will live. As many who are led by the Spirit, these are the sons of God. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our Spirit that we are the children of God. And if children than heirs with God and joint heirs of Christ. That if we indeed suffer with Him we shall be glorified together. For I consider the sufferings of this present time, not worthy to be compared to the glory that shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For creation was subject to futility. Not willingly but Him who subjected it in hope. For we did not receive of bondage again to fear. But we have received the Spirit of adoption by which we cry abba Father. For creation itself will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. I think I got that one. Jim called off from work today from his second job at Albertson’s. Good for him. He deserves it. He’s got one day off after tomorrow when he goes to both jobs. If my calculations are correct, this is the third day with no games. Rather, I’ve been doing some writing things. Speaking of which, the leader of the group I’m in is offering me a leadership job. I’ll probably decline. There’s a lot of research I need to do about promoting my book on social media. Well. That’s it for now goodbye. |
| What a day! The good thing is that I did not indulge in games today. I did call the social security office and got some information about working while disabled. Even my mom is slightly confused. I will call the office in the morning with my mom’s help. It opens at 9 AM. I’m eager to start working. I must get back to writing though. I’m going to take a break from affiliate marketing for now and focus on my composition. After the job situation is cleared up, I will get on with my Thrice Prompted piece. I also want to do the gym in the morning. I missed the last two days. lol. I finally talked to that blond trainer. Her name is Jenn. I caught her while she was training a client. I just commented he was very nice and friendly. Then I had to bounce because Jim was waiting for me to leave with him. I plan to talk to her again. I have to set up a writing site for my book. If I had known how many issues with WA, I never would have joined. I am entertaining the thought of ending my membership. It is very time consuming –very time consuming! Getting back to WdC is long overdue. I was excited to hear that Tobber, a fellow WdC member I know quite well, has a job with a short story magazine. It’s non-paying but it is good practice and excellent for experience. Not only that but he has published a few short stories. He’s on his way for sure! Man is it hot. Phew! It’s almost 110 degrees. If I do get a job, that will be a minus. Beggars can’t be choosers though. I’m very hasty in my priorities and my intentions. I need to learn to take things one day at a time. But at the same instance, I can’t procrastinate. My mom thinks I should pray about my goals and incentives. That, I will surely do. I feel good writing. This is my true niche. I need better quiet times. It’s something I’ve prayed about. Jesus must come first. He must be my purpose for writing. And that is what my book is centered around-things in the Word. I talked with George yesterday. He doesn’t play that many games these days. He partakes in other, healthier hobbies. He likes to play pool, chess and bowling. The only games he plays is Pacman, Space Invaders, centipede and such classic games. 1 Peter 2 13-14 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake. | My goodness! It’s been so long! I’ve been playing too many video games. Just today I am exploring to the marketing aspect of writing. I’m starting with Goodreads. It’s generally straight forward. But before I make an author account, I have to join a reading group that allows me to critique other author’s works as suggested in the site. I kind of don’t know how to do that. lol. But I’ll find out. I must commit myself to God firstly, but I need to recommit myself to writing. The affiliate marketing thing only goes so far. And it is time consuming. Moreover, I need to set up a site for my book. I may end up ditching the whole affiliate marketing gig altogether. I’m facing an issue right now as it is with the program. Once I am done familiarizing myself with Goodreads, I will move onto other social avenues. I want to have all my bases covered. It may take a several hours a day for a few months to get everything down. lol. I went with my mom to her dentist appointment. My mom was in her truck about to leave the neighborhood and I caught her just in time as I was walking home from the store. We were there for about an-hour-and-half. I briefly spoke with a young lady in an electric wheel chair. She is going to CSN to begin her AA in Psychology. Then she plans to go to NSC later on. She was very nice and pretty. Conform to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake. | Boy did I sleep in late! I hate when I do that. I wasted my whole day. Uhg! I played for about an hour on the PS4. Man do I need practice to survive on DBFZ. Everyone I fight is really good. But I do not have time to practice that much do to my affiliate marketing thing and my writing. However, I’ve really been neglecting my writing though. Plus I need to figure out how to market my book on social media. It is easy, though I’m sure. lol. God is really moving in this home. He’s just totally exploding! I’ve not going to lie; it is a scary power! But it is a good scary. Nevertheless, I am a little intimidated. My ride is not able to pick me up tonight. I may be going to our other church. It is rather boisterous and loud. The Spirit is very potent and high energy in this church. It’s a bit overwhelming. Going back to my sleeping issue, I will attempt another try at getting up early and starting the day off with the gym than the Word. Then it’s off to WA. I need help with that yet again, specifically Google Analytics. I may have to go through the whole thing myself to fix my issue. I will retry getting help from GA itself, though I’ve asked my question myself a few times already. lol. It rained a bit today in the heat. It’s quite humid now. I love the rain though. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1 My buddy Craig says he will hook me up with a bike to go to Hobby Lobby when I get the job there. The place is very close. Craig was telling me an alternate bike route that would be faster to get there than by buss. My mom needs to take me to apply there still. I’m pretty sure I’ll get the job. I wonder how Chad will react about me getting a job. lol. I wonder how he’ll react. I may get paid more than he does an hour. He, he. I’m hoping I’ll get fixed part time hours. That will be cool! Nevertheless, I must stay under $1,220 a month or I’ll lose my SSI and medical coverage. That would suck. Well, that’s it for me. Goodbye. |

| Wow, it’s been so long! Hello WdC! I’ve been preoccupied with Wealthy Affiliate – to preoccupied. Once again I have run into another technical issue. This time it’s been with Google Analytics. My clicks are not registering on the platform as indicated on the Amazon Associates home page. I posted on a YouTube video my issue. The most recent reply was three hours ago when I asked my question. So I should get a prompt answer. I did say that if I could not a straight answer, that I be referred to some place that will conclusively help my problem. According to Amazon, I have had five clicks on one day. But nothing registers on GA. It’s quite a mystery. lol. A very significant ordeal just ended last night. Our family friend and her daughter just let for Pahrump. They’ve been living here for three weeks. It was time for them to leave. But let me start from the beginning; the two mentioned individuals, were held at gun point and had their car was jacked with important items in it. It occurred at about 3 AM in the morning. Anyway, we went through this whole thing about acquiring her medications and took that long. At one point we had her admitted to a hospital for about four days. When she was released, she was brought to our house with an oxygen tank. I failed to mention the reason for her hospitalization. Her asthma was very severe. Nevertheless, my mom was really witnessing to her and her daughter. The mom made dinner for us all a few times. She made matzo ball soup. It’s an acquired taste for sure. lol. I felt like I was eating soggy bread. She made two other dishes that were good; one was pesto pasta and the other was this meat and cheese filled crescent rolls. It was delicious! To get back to the initial ordeal, the mom is always nagging her daughter. I don’t know what her mom would do without her daughter. Someday she may leave her mom. That would devastate her. I will say that it is a relief to have them gone. Don’t get me wrong, it was joy to have them. But we needed a breather. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91: 1. The Lord will give strength to his people. He blesses his people with peace. Psalm 29:1 I’ve been trying to memorize specific verses from Romans - chapter 12 I think. I need to get on the daily regimen of going to the gym in the morning and then doing WA for six hours. After that I will do writing stuff. Oh and I may be a getting a job at Hobby Lobby. It is an arts and craft store close to my house. They’re accepting applications now.
