Yesterday, around 5 pm, a wildfire started near a state highway. It quickly spread and by six o'clock by granddaughter and her husband had to evacuate their home. They were not allowed back until 3:00 pm today. Six homes burned to the ground. Theirs had no damage. They live about 45 mins from me. It was frightening.
