Bud,

You sound closer to the tragedy than most of us. It's terrible for anyone involved, but I am thinking about what it must be like for your chaplain friends. Some people, when faced with unspeakably horrible events like this, become angry at God or lose their faith. Wherever people are on the belief spectrum, it's tough to heal and find hope when life delivers a shock of this magnitude.

I gathered from people's writings that some were pretty close to the events. I hope they find their way here and post if it would be any help to them.
