2 Timothy 3:16 says, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." I agree that it is important to look at scripture in the right context, but it is still scripture. It is still the word of God (whether you believe that or not is kind of integral to your position in this discussion, but let's not debate it). So, either you believe it's the word of God or not. If you believe it is, then it is the word of God and still "usefull." What exactly about the ten commandments isn't relevant to today? Really. It is important to look at each of them and ask that question, because i think it is ridiculous to say that God's word no longer applies.
