He is 22 this year. He was on life support twice in six months last year. What they thought was asthma is not. It is a vascular disease. They call it uncontrollable asthma at this stage. He gets an IV of blood plasma once a month to keep his immune system stronger. He is prone to bacterial infections. One of his kidneys died off and we are not sure when. He has autonomic dysfunction as well.
Still a lot to learn yet. Hopefully this visit will shed some light somewhat. It is getting complex.
