Noticing Newbies

Hello! I'm Newbie. I live in NC, although I am a diehard SEATTLE SEAHWAKS fan. Just putting that out there. Are there any forums that I should check out? I have already found a couple of writing prompts that I want to try. I've never published any of my writing. I write mostly mandatory college papers which I find are beginning to burn me out on writing. That is why I'm here. I've have been bogged down by 8-10 page papers every weekend that I am beginning to lose the love I once had for writing. Any tips or ideas to help me save my writing hand and heart would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to the inspiration and writing from this community.
