It took me six hours to write my bio for Moira (day 2) and almost that to do Agrippa's yesterday. Even if I'm in the writing place, I find I need to do research as I write in order to make sure I'm not building characters, settings, or plot devices that are based in historical inaccuracies. I created Agrippa's appearance based on what most people picture for a Roman soldier and forgot he couldn't wear that and be a Praetorian, which I needed so he could be there when the Emperor and God are murdered. Thank goodness I did all that research so I could go back and change things. Granted, I suppose since he's dead he can wear whatever he wants; his clothing is just an expression of his psyche at this point. But, still, it was a rookie mistake for a Historian to make and I'm glad I caught it early.
