I couldn't agree more about the funds and services for mental health illness should be increased. It's the same here in the U.K.

The thing that doesn't help is, Trump going live and saying that violent crime is the fault of the mentally ill. He's now got something to 'blame' to detract from the gun issue, lack of support for mental health etc. The trouble is, he fails to realise or point out, that mental health illness can be everything from depression, post-partum depression, O.C.D., Aspergers or autism, P.T.S.D., agoraphobia, etc. to psychotic disorders, severe schizophrenia etc. Clumping all these illnesses together as 'dangerous mentally ill' shows how misinformed the president and politicians are.

There are millions of people that wouldn't dream of any such violence, but they are suddenly labelled as violent, mad individuals. It angers me so much!
