Form: The Tableau Number of Lines: Minimum 6 Rules: 1 or more stanzas, each containing 6 lines. Since the dictionary states the word tableau means picture or representation, the poem should reflect this. A picture should come to mind as the poem is read. Meter: Each line should have five beats.
