Noticing Newbies

Greetings to the fine people of this writing community!

After being away for a few years, I have returned to the fine community of writing. I was here once before but had to return. I missed the feeling of writing and seeing others/reviewing others.

I am now a published poet! Okay, so no, I'm not making a million dollars, but I did make my dream come true by publishing (excuse me, self-publishing!) my book of love poems. I am planning on publishing more in the future. Just....not too soon.

I still write short stories, although those are few and far between now. As always, however, if I'm writing a poem or a story, it's always a personal one. Either based on me, another person, or experience. I guess that what all writing is based on, yes?

Please, come and talk to me! I'd love to get reantiquated with this community. It was so nice and warm here before! I hope it's still the same.
