Just replying here to note that this is on our todo list, as Jeff brought this thought to us a few months back. Indeed, while Gay/Lesbian sufficed in the early 2000's when it was added, things have progressed and it's not encompassing enough in the 2020's. We've been assessing the impact of changing an existing genre (as it would not be appropriate to add a new one when the existing one already exists but is not wide-ranging enough). There's a few concerns on the backend, including the alphabetical movement in the genre list as well changing a genre that people have already chosen for their works.
