Well CRISPR is real! Won the Nobel a few years ago. But it can’t change you into someone else, or make giant gorillas go on smashathons.

Brent Pruitt has had some appearances elsewhere and he is not showing signs of barely hanging in there that would make him potentially at risk without his sister’s support. And there was a whole line of using Hannah to give Will a soccer career that just… eh. It felt rushed. I wanted to write some sports scene as we’ve got a bazillion teams and they never play anyone.

I think Test Dept. was an indicator to me of what BoM is, and what it is not. Ultimately it is a story centered on high school drama. And I don’t know I am the best person to write it. (I am also hyper conscious I am the least popular of the most regular contributors with the audience, which often slays my enthusiasm. But that is a story for another time.)
