1. You did exactly the right thing by posting the request in the forum. Not naughty at all.
2. If there's a problem that's not the user's fault, we can usually fix it. So, even if we hadn't been able to resolve this before the deadline, I'd take your post that the assignments were completed to be "getting it in before deadline."

Fortunately for me, signups are now closed, which means the dropdown list on the assignment log form is fixed for this year and we shouldn't have to mess with it anymore (unless there's some glitch, of course).
