How about a discussion about age and getting old. I’m 81, 60% neuropathy in both my legs, I can’t walk for more than a few yards, half my spine fused, arthritis and I have 2 Nephrostomy tubes. I’ve also been handed my Red card with a diagnosis of cardiac amyloidosis two months ago. It doesn’t give a long survival time.
My attitude is very high so far. There are times when I try to think about that and decide how I feel, but I can’t. it’s a muddle in my mind at times, but it’s not sometimes too. I have a limited amount of time left and I’m curious what you and others would do. Where do I spend my mental and limited physical abilities?
I have a partner who is very on-board with my problem and will take care of me and walk me to that one-way door.
