Physical problems aside, I’m enjoying being 80. All the things I've done in my life, the experiences, people, places and thinking about all of it over the years. How I've let some things change me, but rejected others to become the happy man I’m comfortable with. I like me. I love the differences in life, that's where all the flavor and texture are. It concerns me knowing that final black void looms just beyond the horizon and, like everyone in all of time, I’ll have to walk into it. I've spent my life cultivating understanding and acceptance and I've left many smiles, laughs and, I hope, understandings along my path. I am a Taoist.
