a perfect Friday night included spending the night with my friend or her spending the night with me. We loved playing Barbies, riding our bikes, and sneaking her older sister's makeup on. I played the guitar and she had a tambourine and we would sing and harmonize when we were 13 and 14. We also watched Elvis movies, Dark Shadows, and ice skated on a shallow pond in the winter. Yeah, Friday nights were the door to a fun filled weekend with my best childhood friend!
