Albert Einstein, so I could play this game with him. Einstein is seated on a plane when a woman takes the seat next to him. A few minutes later, Einstein turned to the woman. “You know, this is going to be a long flight,” he said. “Why don’t we have a competition? I’ll asked you a question, and if you don’t know the answer I’ll give you five dollars. Then you can ask me a question and to make it fair, if I can’t answer it, I’ll give you five-hundred dollars.” “That’s fine,” the woman replied. “You go first.” Einstein says, “How far is it to the moon from the earth?” The woman gives it some thought before replying. “I really don’t know,” she says.” She reaches into her pocket and takes out a five-dollar bill and hands it to Einstein. “Okay, my turn.” The woman thinks for a minute then askes. “What goes up a hill with three legs and comes down with four legs?” Einstein worked through his extensive knowledge of science, but he couldn’t figure out what she was talking about. “I don’t know,” he says and gives the woman five-hundred dollars. Einstein’s turn again. “Okay,” he says with a smirk. “What does go up a hill with three legs and comes down with four?” The woman says, “I don’t know, here’s five dollars.” |
