It is amazing how bold people can be when they want to be mean. It used to think it was this disconnect of hiding behind a keyboard and monitor, but I don't think that's it. People don't hesitate to be mean face to face, either. Facebook used to have reputation of having the meanest people. I am very picky about who I let on my FB, and don't hesitate to give them the boot if there's a problem. Of course, I don't really go on FB anymore anyway  I would say you aren't missing anything by staying off social media. Your mental health is way more important!  |
