Question of the Day!

Well, I traditionally put it up on First Advent (Dec 1 this year) and put it away on Epiphany (Jan 6).

When we had Christmas Trees – I don't anymore – we set it up on Dec 21, and put on the lights... because the 21st is the darkest day of the year. Actually decorate we did on Dec 24... when we actually celebrate Christmas. The 25th we usually spend sleeping off our hangover in the Schnitzelkoma.

Ye know I'm German. Americans start perceived at mid-October already.

Concerning premature Christmas Craze: over here also Halloween yums / decorations stand right next to Christmas yums / decorations... from mid-October on.
