Around Thanksgiving weekend seems reasonable for Christmas decorations. However, I use my Christmas tree before Thanksgiving comes and decorate it as a Thanksgiving tree. My decorations include autumn leaves that are beautifully, but gently lit by battery,. There are various pumpkin and other fall themed decorations. I also have a metal turkey as the tree topper. *Ha*

The Saturday after, my Thanksgiving tree is turned into my Christmas tree with all those decorations replacing the autumn ones.
