I say whatever floats your boat. If you want to put them up in July and take them down in June, go for it. If you want to save yourself the hassle of set-up and tear-down and don't want to put them up at all, go for it. My only deal is that the exterior decorations should be for December only—maybe the last week of November and the first week of January—then back into storage. Christmas "spirit," however, should be on display year-round!
