Question of the Day!

Media literacy means that I search for independent proof of what is being published as "news." While any news agency, no matter how diligent, can be misled at times, there are a few that uphold high standards. And they will admit if they made a mistake and reported something that was not true. So, if I see a headline, I will first check whether AP News, Reuters, even CNN has anything to say to that. If they don't, I might go down the rabbit hole some more with local news channels.

So, media literacy is similar to the scientific method. It's not true just because a lot of people say it. It might be true because people who attempt to go to the closest source of the news are reporting on it.
