Question of the Day!

I like all the arts, but not all art.

I am guessing this a question geared towards visual art?

So, when it comes to painting, I find modern minimalist painting a turn-off. White canvases with a red dot does not yell, "Art!" to me. I also find the trend of childish painting means nothing.

I don't mind some computer-assisted art; AI slop is just that - slop. But the people who create with Photoshop (pre-AI) are amazing creators and I love a lot of that.

I like a lot of cartooning, and pencil art is probably my favourite.

Sculpture, I am much more traditional - I like it to look like something, bit be a slab of concrete with a corner chipped away.

Basically, if I have to ask what the hell it is or means, then I don't like it.
