Question of the Day!

I don't personally have an irrational fear of anything, but one of my maternal great-grandmothers had an irrational fear of lightning due to witnessing someone (her father, I believe) get struck by lightning when she was younger. I never met her, but according to my mother, the fear of lightning was so strong that Grandma wouldn't let my mom and aunt take showers at her house if there was lightning going on. After I was born, my mom made a point to stand outside during storms with baby me because she never wanted me to be that scared of something.
